The history of CO.M.AF Spring Works began in Florence in 1970, when Valerio Piccioli founded a business dedicated to manufacturing springs and elastic components, now run by his daughter Laura and grandson Claudio. From the outset, the company has focused on precision, materials expertise and the ability to adapt its processes to different requirements.

Today, CO.M.AF continues to operate as a spring manufacturer in Calenzano, maintaining the quality that has defined its history. Our production facility in Calenzano, near Florence
CO.M.AF's registered office and production facility are in Settimello, in the municipality of Calenzano, in the province of Florence. Operations take place in a workshop of approximately 750 m², equipped with the machinery and equipment needed to manufacture springs and elastic components.
The facility houses a range of machining operations, from wire forming to preparing the tooling used in spring production. This setup allows us to handle orders with varying specifications and meet our customers’ needs.
Thanks to its traditional craftsmanship, Mollificio CO.M.AF can respond quickly to urgent requests and produce samples even in the customer's presence, making immediate adjustments to ensure the spring works correctly.

Over the years, spring manufacturing technologies have evolved, and CO.M.AF has complemented traditional processes with specialist equipment. The workshop is equipped with spring coiling, spring twisting and wire bending machines, used to shape different components with both manual systems and CNC software. It also has general machine shop equipment, such as milling machines, used to make tools for processing metal strip. Having a range of equipment available makes it possible to choose the most suitable production method for the specifications of each item.
